SHORT BIO

Egle Banyte is a Lithuanian jewellery maker based in Belfast. Her work is inspired by her youth in rural Lithuania, Baltic tradition, Constructivism, and Northern European aesthetics. Egle's work is handmade using traditional techniques and materials, yet manifesting a contemporary style.

In 2018, Egle was awarded a Goldsmiths’ Company Precious Metal Grant, Egle won the New Designers Goldsmiths’ Company Jewellery Award and a Future Makers Award by the Design and Crafts Council of Ireland.
